Bookish Discovery Of The Week.

Hello friends.

It’s been a really weird couple of days so I’m sorry for the lack of posts. I’m assuming you’ve already guessed what I’m going to talk about today and I’m also assuming most of you aren’t as excited about it either. If you are then hey I’m glad for you but I’m pretty annoyed and disappointed.
Welcome to my post on Sarah J Mass and the terrible cover for Tower Of Dawn.

I really liked Throne Of Glass. I used to love the series. But since the release of Empire Of Storm I’ve noticed and been told quite a few things that have ruined the series for me.

I don’t like most of the characters. The only reason I’m still reading, actually is because I love the plot of the book and how it’s developing.

One of the characters I absolutely hate is Chaol so it’s natural that I’m not that excited about this book.
He’s so boring and sad and noble. Ugh.

Anyway, the cover was revealed a few days ago and it’s terrible. I wanted a Chaol in a dress with a sword like Aelin or maybe just his silhouette in a bad ass cape. Instead, we get an owl. AN OWL?!

But there is this fan made cover by Feelings Of A Bookaholic on Instagram that I can totally get behind.

To keep this short, I will be reading this book because I’m pretty sure that healer from Assassin’s Blade is going to make a comeback and I’m really excited for that.

But otherwise I’m not so happy because I really really don’t like Chaol.

That’s about it.

Happy reading.

  1. My sympathies of your bookish disappointment. The ACOTAR series doesn’t really interest me but I think I’ll try Throne Of Glass sometime.

The last book of acotar was a huge disappointment plotwise and character wise but the first few books of ToG are really nice so I’m excited for you to try them 😊
